Email-domain check
Your domain.
Clearer email protection.
Check your public SPF, DMARC and mail-routing records. Get plain-English findings and practical next steps, with no account or Microsoft connection.
Start with your domain.
Know what the check covers.
This is a public DNS record review. It does not access your tenant, inspect messages or verify your ownership of the domain. A published policy is not a guarantee of protection or delivery.
DKIM selectors and message signatures, inherited DMARC policy, full SPF expansion, spam filtering and Microsoft tenant security are not checked. Your administrator should test legitimate senders before changing authentication records.
Understand the three checks.
- MX: where mail is routed
- Records that point incoming messages towards an email service.
- SPF: authorised sending systems
- A policy receivers can use to check the sending envelope domain.
- DMARC: alignment and requested handling
- A policy describing how receivers should handle authentication failures for the visible From domain.
