Choose full users, limited users and eligible attach licences

Start with the application each person uses and the tasks they perform. A lower-priced limited-user licence is suitable only when its use rights cover that person's work.

Business Central Team Members and Dynamics 365 Team Members are different products. Essentials and Premium users also need access suited to the way their Business Central companies are configured. We check the existing setup before proposing a different mix.

For people needing several Dynamics applications, an eligible attach licence may be appropriate alongside their qualifying base licence. We verify the exact combination rather than treating an attach offer as a standalone licence. See Microsoft's Dynamics licensing guidance and Business Central licensing guidance.

Separate commitment, billing and additional costs

The tables show yearly payment, with a monthly equivalent to help comparison. Other suppliers may offer an annual commitment billed monthly; this does not become a monthly cancellable contract. Dead Simple 365 offers annual commitment paid upfront or monthly commitment paid monthly, where available for the exact product. Microsoft explains term duration and billing frequency separately.

A licence quotation should also identify any additional capacity, third-party apps, communication usage or AI consumption you need. Customer Service's published prices do not include every Azure Communication Services charge. Configuration, data migration, integrations and training require their own scope and price.

An existing deployment needs a renewal review, not a new implementation pitch

If Dynamics already runs your sales, service or finance operation, begin with the configuration and people you have. Ask the application owner to confirm the tasks performed by each role before changing editions or quantities. A lower-priced Team Members licence is not a substitute for a full user whose work needs full rights.

For a practical review, group the renewal into full users, limited users, eligible base/attach combinations, and separate capacity or consumption. For example, a sales team using a second Dynamics application needs each proposed attach licence matched to that same user's qualifying base. Removing the base without checking the remaining rights can make a cheaper-looking basket unsuitable. Microsoft's Dynamics licensing guidance describes this model.

For Business Central, confirm the current environment, Essentials or Premium setup, user duties and any capacity requirements. The Business Central licensing guide distinguishes full users, limited Team Members and capacity. Your implementation partner should validate any proposed change against the deployed processes. These licensing sources were reviewed on 23 September 2026; the public price tables above retain their separate 21 September reference date.

Compare a Dynamics renewal without losing support continuity

A licence quotation and an application support contract answer different questions. Request a competitive price for the exact licence basket while recording who owns integrations, customisations, upgrades, backup arrangements and incident support. Do not compare a licence-only quote with an existing combined licence and support bill as though the service were identical.

Capture the current commitment, billing frequency, renewal and notice dates for every line. Use our renewal planner and business renewal checklist to organise the commercial work. Where a supplier change is proposed, the exact transfer or renewal route still needs agreement. A quote request neither moves the environment nor ends the old contract.

Keep an unchanged-basket price comparison separate from optional new modules or quantity changes. Unknown capacity and usage charges should stay visible until confirmed. A discount is possible, not promised; the useful result is a complete, comparable proposal with clear responsibilities.

Keep your Dynamics deployment and request a licence-only quote

You can request a licensing quotation while retaining your implementation partner and internal IT team. We check the current subscriptions, renewal dates and supply/support responsibilities before agreeing a change. A licence quote does not replace your application support agreement.

Send a short renewal checklist:

  1. Exact application, edition and quantity for each licence line.
  2. Existing full-user, Team Members and base/attach products, with the tasks those users perform.
  3. Current commitment, renewal dates and tenant country.
  4. Your written renewal rates, if you want a cost comparison.
  5. The implementation partner and support arrangement you intend to keep.

Build your Dynamics renewal quote, using separate lines for required licences and possible changes. Unknown rates remain price on request until confirmed.

A managed IT service is optional. New deployments can also enquire, with implementation ownership and costs agreed separately. A licence order does not automatically configure the application or migrate your data.

We email your quotation, check the agreed supply details and arrange an accepted order through our team. A quote request does not purchase or activate a Dynamics subscription.

Common questions.

Are these DeadSimple365 selling prices?

No. These are Microsoft's public UK reference prices, checked on 21 September 2026. Request a written DeadSimple365 quotation for your exact application, edition, seats, commitment and billing frequency. We confirm availability and your full price before you commit.

Can I buy Dynamics licences without a managed IT service?

You can request a licence-only quotation for an existing Dynamics deployment. You can keep your implementation partner. We confirm the licensing support and escalation arrangement before supply. Implementation, migration, customisations and managed IT are separate services, only included when agreed.

Does a monthly price mean I can cancel monthly?

No. The Microsoft references shown here are monthly equivalents for yearly payment. Other suppliers may offer annual commitment billed monthly; this also remains an annual commitment. Dead Simple 365 offers annual commitment paid upfront or monthly commitment paid monthly, subject to product availability. Your quotation will state the commitment term and billing frequency separately, along with the applicable renewal and cancellation terms.

Can everyone use the cheaper Team Members licence?

No. Business Central Team Members provides limited rights and does not replace an Essentials or Premium licence for a full user. It is also a different product from Dynamics 365 Team Members. Choose licences against each person's actual work and the applicable Microsoft use rights.

What is a Dynamics base or attach licence?

A base licence is a user's qualifying primary Dynamics application licence. An eligible attach licence can provide another application for that same user at a different price. The required base licence must be present. We check the exact combination before quoting; attach pricing is not a standalone substitute.

Can a Microsoft 365 licence scan confirm all my Dynamics needs?

No. A licence count alone does not establish Dynamics application access, roles, usage or entitlement requirements. Supply your exact products, user roles, renewal details and existing licence list so the quotation can be checked against your deployment.

Your licences. Your next step.

Build your licence list and we confirm prices and terms by email. Licence-only customers are welcome; a review or support service is optional.

Sending a request takes no payment and places no order.
