Microsoft 365 Copilot Business price UK

Microsoft 365 Copilot Business is £13.80 per user per month ex VAT for the first year through Dead Simple 365, a promotional rate against the £16.10 list price. The promo ends 31 December 2026. Copilot Business is an AI assistant add-on for an existing Microsoft 365 Business plan, not a standalone product, and it provisions into your own Microsoft tenant.

Operated by Dead Simple Computing Ltd, a UK Microsoft 365 reseller. We resell the same Microsoft 365 Business licences through Microsoft's official partner channel, into a tenant you own.

What it costs and when the promo ends

Copilot Business is £13.80 per user per month ex VAT for the first year through Dead Simple 365. The Microsoft list price is £16.10 per user per month ex VAT, so the promo takes £2.30 per user per month off year one.

The promotional rate is set by Microsoft and applies to new Copilot Business orders placed before 31 December 2026. After that date, or once your promotional year ends, the licence moves to the standard list price. We state the deadline plainly rather than burying it, because the saving is real and time limited.

A quick example. Ten Copilot seats at £13.80 cost £138 per month ex VAT in year one, against £161 at list. That is £276 less across the first year for a ten seat rollout.

What Copilot Business actually is

Copilot Business is Microsoft's AI assistant add-on for Microsoft 365 Business plans. It works inside the apps your team already uses: drafting and summarising in Word and Outlook, building decks in PowerPoint, analysing data in Excel, and recapping meetings in Teams. It also adds business data protection, so your prompts and company data are not used to train the underlying models.

In plain English, it is the layer that turns the Office apps you pay for into apps that can draft, summarise and search across your own content. It is one licence per user, billed per user per month ex VAT, the same way your Microsoft 365 seats are billed.

Eligibility: it is an add-on, not a standalone plan

Copilot Business is an add-on to a qualifying Microsoft 365 Business plan. You cannot buy it on its own. Each user who gets Copilot needs an underlying Business licence first, typically Business Standard or Business Premium.

That means the real cost per Copilot user is the base plan plus the add-on. For example:

  • Business Standard (£8.83) plus Copilot (£13.80) = £22.63 per user per month ex VAT in year one.
  • Business Premium (£15.55) plus Copilot (£13.80) = £29.35 per user per month ex VAT in year one.

You do not need Copilot on every seat. Many teams licence it for the people who write, analyse or run meetings most, then expand once the value is clear.

Annual upfront or monthly flexible, into your own tenant

Copilot Business is sold on the same two terms as our Microsoft 365 plans.

  • Annual upfront: paid in one payment for a 12 month term. This is the headline rate and it fixes your price for the year.
  • Monthly flexible: month to month at roughly 20% above the annual rate, so you can resize or cancel at each monthly renewal.

We do not offer annual commitment billed monthly. Either you pay annually upfront, or you go fully month to month.

Every licence provisions into your own Microsoft tenant, the organisation account where your users, mail and data already live. We never hold your licences in a provider-managed tenant. If you leave, you keep everything. Standard Microsoft subscription rules apply to Copilot as they do to every reseller: a 7 day cancellation window, no seat decreases mid term, and upgrades allowed any time.

Going beyond the licence: Copilot adoption services

A licence on its own does not change how a team works. The value of Copilot comes from people knowing when and how to use it.

We offer optional paid Copilot adoption services on top of the licence: setup guidance, prompt training for your team, and help identifying the workflows where Copilot pays back fastest. This is an add-on you choose, not a mandatory bundle. Buy the licences self-service today, and add adoption support if and when you want it. There is no sales call required to purchase Copilot itself.

How to buy

Add Copilot Business to a qualifying Microsoft 365 Business plan through online checkout. Choose annual upfront for the lowest rate, or monthly flexible if you want to resize each month. The £13.80 first year promo applies to orders placed before 31 December 2026.

If you are not yet on a Business plan, start with Business Standard or Business Premium, then add Copilot to the seats that need it.

Common questions.

How much is Microsoft 365 Copilot Business in the UK?

Copilot Business is £13.80 per user per month ex VAT for the first year through Dead Simple 365, against a £16.10 list price. The promotional rate applies to orders placed before 31 December 2026, after which the licence moves to the standard list price.

Can I buy Copilot Business on its own?

No. Copilot Business is an add-on to a qualifying Microsoft 365 Business plan, not a standalone product. Each Copilot user needs an underlying Business licence first, such as Business Standard or Business Premium, then Copilot is added on top per user per month.

When does the £13.80 Copilot promo end?

The £13.80 per user per month ex VAT first year rate applies to new Copilot Business orders placed before 31 December 2026. After that date, or once your promotional year ends, the licence moves to the £16.10 list price ex VAT.

Does Copilot go into my own Microsoft tenant?

Yes. Copilot Business provisions into your own Microsoft tenant, the same organisation account where your users, mail and data live. We never hold licences in a provider-managed tenant, so you keep everything if you leave.

Do I have to buy Copilot for every user?

No. You can licence Copilot for selected users only, typically the people who write, analyse data or run meetings most. Many teams start with a focused group, then expand once the value is clear. Each licensed user still needs an underlying Business plan.

What is the difference between annual upfront and monthly flexible for Copilot?

Annual upfront is paid in one payment for a 12 month term at the headline rate and fixes your price. Monthly flexible is month to month at roughly 20% above the annual rate, letting you resize or cancel at each monthly renewal. Annual billed monthly is not offered.
